Backup log checks
The logs generated by the backups are checked to ensure that consistent backups are taking place.
Virus definition checks
Each time a new virus is discovered, new detection and cure programs need to be written. Therefore, we
ensure your anti-virus software is kept current.
Server volume checks
Checks are performed on the volume of hard disk storage space available for users of the network to
store collective files.
Restoration procedure checks
A test is performed to verify the integrity of the data being backed up. This involves restoring and then
validating a selection of files.
Windows checks
These ensure that network operating systems, e.g. Windows server and workstation, are available for
users to log on and to use without any network interruptions.
Software update checks
Ensure Microsoft and/or software providers’ software patches are up to date.
Site book records
Site books record server/network information including Internet configuration and set up, fault sheets,
passwords and other vital information about the client's network.
Monthly client task list
The engineer performs any further maintenance tasks requested by the client.
